I was able to volunteer with Fred Jordan Mission. The contact person was Debbie Smith. I volunteered with Biola's Nursing Program. We prepared packages for the homeless community, while discussing with the staff their experiences with coming to terms with not being able to help each individual. We presented the spiritual health education during the chapel time to the homeless clients of the Fred Jordan mission  specifically on providing teaching on the importance of hand hygiene, diabetic management, and foot care. We spent time volunteering for two days, preparing and cooking food for lunch for the homeless on Skid Row. I’m thankful for my time at Skid Row in order to prepare food for the homeless and see what I can do with what I have been given.
